Spring Food Drive Exceeds Goals: 5,000 Families Served

We are thrilled to announce that our 2024 Spring Food Drive has exceeded all expectations, serving over 5,000 families in need throughout our community. This remarkable achievement wouldn't have been possible without the incredible support of our volunteers, donors, and community partners.
The Numbers Tell the Story
This year's drive saw unprecedented participation:
- Over 200 volunteers contributed more than 3,000 hours
- 45,000 pounds of food collected and distributed
- 150 corporate sponsors and community partners
- 5,000+ families received essential groceries
Community Coming Together
What made this year's drive special was the overwhelming sense of community. Local businesses, schools, and faith organizations all played crucial roles in making this event a success. From donation drives at local schools to corporate matching programs, every contribution made a difference.
"I've been volunteering with Free Full Hands for three years, and this year felt different. There was a real sense of urgency and compassion in everyone involved. It reminded me why this work matters." - Maria Santos, Volunteer
Looking Ahead
As we celebrate this success, we're already planning for our summer programs. The need in our community continues, and we're committed to being there for families who need us most.
