Motorcycle for Safe Transport
Holiday surcharges and a broken-down motorcycle forced the elders to pause errands until a vetted replacement—funded by Anthony, Michelle, and a longtime family friend—arrived with proper documentation.
By December 2024 the children's home was spending precious shillings hiring bodas (motorcycle taxis) to haul maize, visit the bank, and rush sick kids to the clinic. Their old motorcycle had finally given out, and holiday surcharges made some trips impossible. Anthony asked whether a used bike would help, but a local mechanic explained the risks: weak frames, cracked engines, and endless downtime across the 15 km stretch to the mill.
Michelle and Anthony covered most of the expense, and a longtime friend of Anthony's dad Randy contributed with a $400 check to close the gap. Within 48 hours pastor Jessy purchased a brand new motorcycle.
Today the bike shuttles children to exams, ferries sacks of corn, and shortens emergency trips to clinics.

- Funds first arrive in FFH's U.S. account.
- They are then transferred to Stanbic Bank in Uganda via SWIFT wire.
- Truth Restoration Church elders review and prioritize the children’s needs.
- Once the needs are identified, they are submitted to FFH for approval.
- After approval, the agreed-upon items are purchased, and receipts and photos of each purchase are sent back to FFH.
