Mosquito Nets & Blankets
After repeated malaria scares, the elder board prioritized mosquito nets and blankets—starting with the youngest children first. Pastor Jessy asked Anthony to help fund.
Several children slept without nets or adequate blankets, and chills during the cold season were triggering illness. Anthony requested exact needs, and Brian returned with receipts showing $117.80 required to complete the remaining nets plus a plan to replace the thinnest blankets.
The elders prioritized children first, then scheduled a follow-up trip to finish the remaining bunks once supplies restocked. Anthony kept asking for updates, so Brian sent the elder-meeting photo, allocation notes, and delivery confirmations.
The upgrades did more than prevent disease; they dignified bedtime. Children who once huddled together for warmth now climb into labeled bunks with soft blankets, reminded nightly that the global church sees them.
